No matter how many times I've heard the classic hymn by John Newton, and no matter how many variations or versions, I will never.

Ever.

Ever ever.

EVER.

Ever, consider it not worth my time or investment to listen to a singer, a musician, or a child worship the Lord with this hymn, which is perhaps, outside of the Gospel itself, the most perfect expression of the juxtaposition of being lost in one's total depravity, and the awakening of hope, and then incomprehensible joy, that a savior has willingly and lovingly condescended to save me.
