As EG is preparing to go to sleep, she shares this deeply insightful personal revelation to me:

EG: Dad, I've decided 125 is my favorite number. And since I declared to myself it is my favorite, I now see it everywhere.

Me: I don't even know what to say to that.

EG: So for every book I read, I go to the 125th page.

Me: And then what?

EG: On that page, I count to the 125th word.

Me: Wow.

EG: And then I remember that word for the entire time I read the book, until I'm finished.

Me: What have you learned about the 125th word on the 125th page?

EG: The word is usually "THE."

Me: You're a total dork.
