Sweet Mercy

This past weekend, both my beloved and I have been sick. What is remarkable is, it seems like all of the negative traits in our Jewel that we are constantly trying to train her through are made subservient in her little mind to our personal well being. She has not been cranky, selfish, or disrespectful from the time we became ill. Instead, she has a sweet heart of mercy and service toward us, vowing that she will take care of us.
