Gift of Mercy

I think my daughter has a unique gift of mercy about her. She feels great pain when those around her are hurting. She has dry skin, and when it scuffs and bleeds we fix her "ouchy" by putting a cream on it. Now, whenever I have my own "ouchy," she runs to her room and brings back the cream so that she can put it on wherever my hurt is. Sometimes though, the hurt is of course on the "inside." But even then, out comes the cream, b/c she can't bear to see me or her mom dealing with pain.
